Skavinger publishes preparedness references and operates the WORLDVIEW application at https://skavinger.com. Contact hello@skavinger.com.
The books are not advice
Our books describe law, safety guidance and infrastructure in general terms so that you understand the shape of them. They are not legal advice and they are not medical advice. The law changes, differs across the four nations of the United Kingdom and other jurisdictions, and applies differently to different facts.
Where a task needs a professional, our books say so and stop. Follow that. In an emergency call 999. For urgent medical advice that is not an emergency, call 111.
The first edition of each book has not been reviewed by a clinician. Where health guidance appears, it quotes NHS or Food Standards Agency wording rather than paraphrasing it. You are responsible for your own decisions and for the safety of your household.
WORLDVIEW is provided as is
WORLDVIEW aggregates third-party data including satellite orbital elements, flight positions and seismic feeds. That data belongs to its providers, may be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and must not be relied on for navigation, aviation, emergency response or any safety-critical purpose. We provide it without warranty of accuracy, completeness or availability.
What you may do
Read the site, use WORLDVIEW for lawful personal or professional purposes, and quote our books briefly with attribution.
What you may not do
- Reproduce, redistribute or resell a book or a substantial part of one
- Scrape, bulk-download or resell data obtained through WORLDVIEW
- Use the service to attempt to identify, track or surveil an individual
- Circumvent access controls on paid tiers
Affiliate links
Some links on our shop pages are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you buy through them at no extra cost to you. Where a link is an affiliate link it is labelled. Nothing is recommended because it pays a commission; everything listed is already recommended in a book for a sourced reason.
Liability
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site, the application or the books.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
